What file formats are supported?

EPUB, PDF, CBZ, CBR, TXT, Markdown, CSV, HTML, code files, ZIP, RAR, and images (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP).

How do I import files?

Tap the + button in the tab bar, or use the iOS Share Sheet from any app (Files, Safari, Mail, etc.). On iPad, you can also drag and drop files into the app.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. All files stay on your device. expt is 100% local — no cloud storage, no accounts, no servers.

Does iCloud sync upload my files?

No. iCloud sync only transfers reading positions and preferences between your devices. Your files are never uploaded.

I found a bug. How do I report it?
